So, you have come to find that you are one of those that can't have a switchblade. You are a nasty criminal, even though you have never been arrested in your life! Isn't it just awesome how some people think? You want to know something even funnier? Some of you probably can't even carry a spring assisted opening knife at this point! Check your local laws, because they change more often than you think! Moving onward, spring assisted opening knives are an excellent alternative to a switchblade. Why? Well, they are legal just about everywhere and open just as fast as an automatic knife. Another good point to a spring assisted opening knife is that there is really no need for a safety. This is due to the simple fact that you must push the blade, via a thumb stud and or index finger (flipper) stud, to start the blades movement. This means no accidental button firing!
